The Cove Special is a modern strip built
design cruising canoe. It can be paddled by one or two; with the single paddler preferably kneeling. It is just
under 17 feet in length with a 16'-4" waterline. The waterline beam is just shy of 30" and the deck beam is 32 1/4".
I will email you a folder that includes: Construction Plan, Bow mold, stern mold, and
station patterns. (All lofted full size). These are .PLT files and should be saved to a disc and brought to an oversize
printer.

The Whaleboat is a modern adaptation of
a traditional whaleboat. It has been reduced in size to 18' 6" with a 4' 6" beam at the rails. It can
be built using strip composite, cold molded, or plywood lapstrake. The first boat is being built in Kevlar and Carbon
fiber.
