The Coastalrower.com website is an attempt to create an online community of coastal rowers. Our
objectives are really quite simple: To connect coastal rowers and those interesting in coastal rowing with one another
and with helpful information about coastal rowing. The site will initially provide several areas we hope will be of interest.
Some of these areas will include: a Calendar of events, links to useful information such as launch site access, tides,
weather, rowing clubs, molds for loan for those who want to build their own boats, and boats for sale. We will also
provide links to businesses that support coastal rowing with equipment and boatbuilding materials.
Additionally we will provide a means for you to share information about favorite rows. We will have a section of the
site dedicated to boat construction and will share shop tricks on building and boat set up.
Finally we will provide some free plans and patterns for coastal rowing boats. These will be down-loadable
PLT files that can be saved and printed at any over-size print shop that services architectural customers.
